Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

This page describes exactly what happens to information when you visit 2tentech.com. We have named the specific tools that run on this site and the cookies they set, rather than describing them in the abstract, because a policy you cannot check against reality is not much of a policy.

1.Who we are

2tentech is a digital growth agency founded in 2023 and based in Columbus, Ohio. We provide SEO, AI search optimization, digital marketing, web and software development, outsourced sales, and branding services to businesses in the United States.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit 2tentech.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, including the blog at 2tentech.com/blog/. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.

2.Information you give us

We collect information you enter into a form on this site. Our contact form, quote request, free audit request, and the enquiry forms on our division pages all submit to the same place, and the fields they can carry are:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number and country code
  • Your website address
  • The service or solution you are interested in
  • Your message, and where the form asks for it, your project budget, timeline, and project details

Form submissions are delivered to us by email at info@2tentech.com. We do not run a customer account system on this website, so there is no password to store and no profile to log into.

We also record the IP address a submission came from, for the limited purpose of rate limiting. The form accepts a maximum of five submissions per IP address per hour, which is how we keep automated spam out of our inbox.

3.Information collected automatically

When you browse this site, our analytics tools collect standard technical and usage information. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type and screen size, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the page that referred you, and your approximate location derived from your IP address at city or region level.

One of our tools also records session activity. This is described in the next section, because it is the disclosure most people want to read carefully.

4.Analytics and session recording

We use four third-party tools on this website. Each is operated by the company named, and each processes data under its own privacy policy in addition to this one.

  • Google Tag Manager, operated by Google LLC. This is the container that loads our other tags. It does not set cookies of its own.
  • Google Analytics 4, operated by Google LLC, property G-6NSEV2YH64. This measures traffic, traffic sources, and which pages and content people use.
  • Microsoft Clarity, operated by Microsoft Corporation, project pvtlp0tzvg. Clarity records session replays and builds heatmaps. This means it captures your mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and navigation through the site, and replays them to us as an anonymized session. We use this to find pages where visitors get stuck or confused.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics, operated by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. This measures traffic and referring sources. It is cookieless and does not set cookies on your device.

On session replay specifically: Microsoft Clarity is configured to mask sensitive input by default, and we do not use it to capture the contents of the fields you type into our forms. We are naming it explicitly because session recording is a meaningful thing to disclose and burying it inside the word analytics would not be an honest description of what runs on this site.

5.Cookies we set

The following cookies are set when you visit 2tentech.com. We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies on this website, and we do not set a Google Ads conversion tag.

CookieSet byPurposeTypical lifetime
_gaGoogle AnalyticsDistinguishes one visitor from another2 years
_ga_6NSEV2YH64Google AnalyticsKeeps session state for our specific property2 years
_clckMicrosoft ClarityPersists a Clarity user ID across visits1 year
_clskMicrosoft ClarityGroups the page views in one visit into a single replay1 day

Cookie lifetimes are set by the providers and can change without notice from us. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work.

6.How we use this information

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and provide the services you ask us about
  • To understand which pages, guides, and services people actually use, so we can improve them
  • To diagnose problems with the site, including pages that load slowly or break
  • To protect the site and our inbox from spam and abuse
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your form submission to add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

7.How we share information

We share information only in these situations:

  • With the service providers named above, who process data on our behalf so the site can function and be measured
  • With our hosting and email providers, which transmit and store form submissions in the ordinary course of delivering them to us
  • Where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim
  • With a successor entity, if 2tentech is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will note the change on this page

8.How long we keep it

Enquiries and the correspondence that follows them are kept for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our records or to meet a legal obligation. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's own retention settings and defaults. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time using the contact details below.

9.Your choices and controls

  • Browser settings let you block or delete cookies for this site at any time
  • Google provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from measuring your visits to any site
  • Microsoft provides an opt-out for Clarity and its other analytics products through its privacy dashboard
  • Most browsers offer Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, and browser-level tracking protection will block these tags before they load
  • You can ask us directly to delete an enquiry you sent us, and we will do it

To be transparent about a limitation: this site does not currently show a cookie consent banner, so the analytics tags described above load when you arrive. If you would rather they did not run, use one of the browser controls above.

10.California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request a copy of it, to request its deletion, to request correction of inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of those rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in that law. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@2tentech.com with the details of your request. We will need enough information to verify who you are before we act on it.

11.Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. We limit access to enquiry data to the people at 2tentech who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and we will not claim otherwise.

12.Children's privacy

This is a business-to-business website and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13.Visitors outside the United States

We serve clients in the United States, and the information described here is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If you visit this site from outside the United States, you are sending your information to a jurisdiction whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own country.

14.Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes, including when we add or remove a tool that processes visitor data. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
